I love fall time in Minnesota. I love everything about it. The sunny warm days mixed with the chilly evenings/overnights, the spectacular colors of the changing leaves, the delicious taste of an apple right from the tree, and Sunday Vikings football. Getting together to cheer on the Vikes is just one of many things that make fall my favorite season, whether it be live at the game, outdoors on a projector, or inviting people into my home once the weather isn’t so friendly. From being surrounded by local friends and family, to being surrounded by complete strangers in Dallas, TX or Green Bay, WI, snacking on some chips and dip while cheering on the home team is just some fun that’s hard to beat! So with the help of some friends, Willie got all dressed up to watch the MN Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 27 to 19. Over the years, Willie has accumulated a few Vikings accessories, so that day he sported a purple collar and yellow bandana. Spoiled by my friends who brought him some extra special treats, Willie was reminded once again just how lucky he is to have some amazing people supporting him on his journey.
